| 05-31-2008 - DS01 / DS02 - Miniature Flowmeter and Switch |  | | | The minature flowmeters and switches model DS01 / DS02 from PKP Prozessmesstechnik GmbH are used for measuring and monitoring the flow of low viscous liquids and gases.
The devices may be mounted into pipes from 1/4" up to 1" and can measure flow rates of 5-60 ml/min to 60-150 l/min of water or 0,5-2 SLM to 200-625 SLM of air.
The model DS01 works as a flowmeter with a glass measuring tube and an additional alarm contact. The DS02 is a flow switch only mounted in an all metal housing, which makes it suitable for operating pressures up to 300 bar. All units feature a potential free Reed contact with an especially low hysteresis.
Through the use of an integrated spring the DS01 / DS02 meters are not dependent on gravity and may be used for any flow direction.
The multitude of different measuring ranges, process connections and materials for wetted parts as well as the extremely low price makes these miniature flowmeters and switches the first choice for monitoring of cooling systems of all kinds, pump and compressor monitoring or for numerous other applications. | | | |
